The Secondary 2 camp

My initial expectation for this camp was to have fun and be excited. But the camp did not meet my expectation as it was quite boring and what we did for most of the time was just sitting down and waiting. To me the only fun thing in the camp was kayaking, because Qin Xiang and I really enjoyed ourselves there as we splashed water at others. And I was also sad that I did not get a chance to try the high element because as were about to get started while wearing our harness, the lightning struck so we got to stop the activity.

Another thing I don't like about this camp was the hut, because there are too many people sleeping in the same hut. During the second night, I sleep between my friends, Peng Quan on my left and Kingsley on my right. When we were sleeping soundly, Peng Quan kept on using his head to bang my arm, after that he yet again uses his head and pushes me to Kingsley. And I felt so sorry for Kingsley as he was kicked by another person when Peng Quan pushes me to him and I accidentally hit his left arm and his arm turned blue-black for weeks.

I have learnt that group work and communication among the group members were important as we need to rely on each other during activities such as the rafting.

They should plan well for the camp as there were too much time spend on waiting and rather doing activities. Especially during the night walk.

Before the camp I felt excited. But during the camp, I felt quite bored as I have done most of the activities during my primary school's camps. And after the camp I felt happy as I can go back home to sleep on my bed.
